Bodlongwa River Resort is nestled in the confluence of Klein Letaba (Ritavi) and Shingedzi rivers in the Vhembe District of Limpopo Province. The resort is located 2.5 km off the R578 road to Giyani: and 40km of off the N1 highway from Louistrichardt, giving it easy access from all major centers.
It is surrounded by the Xitsonga speaking community of Bungeni and Wayeni and the Tshivenda speaking communities of Mashamba and Mfemba, giving it a great cultural diversity, which will soon form part of the experience for visitors.
The resort is home to prime nature with one of the greatest biodiversity profiles featuring several wild trees including what is possibly the largest wild fig tree, spanning 30m. It has a myriad of indigenous plants many of them with medicinal and cultural value.
Our goal is to preserve and nurture these plants and trees together with a small community of wild (friendly) animals inside the property. We offer a great combination of resort facilities including a half Olympic size (25m) family pool, a kiddie’s pool and a screed-off adult pool area, water slides, peddle karts, quad bikes, jungle gym, outdoor rides and more, all intended to give the greatest family and adult visitor experience to create lasting memories.
The resort also offers a café with great combination of light meals and braai, all prepared Mozambican style with homemade sources and spices by our award-winning chef. The resort has a rooftop bar with a perfect view of the river, a pool table, and a feet-dipping area for relaxed adult experience with the best combination of upmarket choices of beverage.
